Learn Basic Tunisian Crochet - October 2nd

Minimum age 8years old

Description: If you can do basic crochet, you can learn Tunisian Crochet.

Projects are created using a long hook or a hook with a cord attached.

Each row consists of a forward pass and a return pass, working only on the right side of your pattern. Students will crochet a spa cloth using the Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS). Then crochet a border with a regular crochet hook.

Prerequisites: Students should know how to do basic crochet ~ chain stitch and single crochet

Materials: 2 colors of medium weight cotton (Queensland Coastal Cotton is suggested and available at Hashtag Café & Yarn Corner), Tunisian Crochet hook size J (6.0 mm), regular crochet hooks in size G (4.0 mm) and size H (5.0 mm), scissors, yarn needle. Pattern sheet will be handed out in class.
