Class Project: T-Shirt Yarn Crochet Purse

Skill Level (Beginner+): Students should know how to chain stitch and single crochet

Description: Learn to crochet this fun T-Shirt Yarn Purse. Learn techniques such as increasing and decreasing single crochet stitches. Learn how to do a "special" join at the end of each round. This fun project is interesting and enjoyable to both seasoned crocheters as well as newbies.

Materials: 2 skeins of Circulo T-Shirt Yarn (this is sufficient to crochet either the mini or the medium bag). Size N/P (10 mm) hook, large yarn needle, scissors, one large lockable stitch marker. Optional: 10 mm chain and three clasps (these are available at Michael's Craft Store).

Paid for pattern is included in this class

Week 1: Create the bottom of the bag, increasing and decreasing sides.

Week 2: Crochet the handles, add hardware and a tassle.
